Reliable Recordings was conceived at the end of 1999.
It’s origins lie in the principle that if we work our talents collectively we can accomplish great things. Reliable have built up a solid core of people to work with regularly and its Reliable Recordings objective to release records by the cream of New Zealand producers.
To all intents and purposes Reliable Recordings main goal is to develop and nurture a distinct New Zealand House sound: that area where house and techno mingle with our environment and psyche, to introduce locally produced dance music into markets overseas. The collective desire to share the music they experience in New Zealand with the rest of the world. With these releases, Reliable hope people all over will be able to feel and hear what we, deep in the South Pacific, enjoy so much.
